Unique, hand-pulled test print on newsprint, 24" x 36". Individually labeled with artist's stamp, JRF, on reverse side.
The residual, in-progress blots, cast offs and experiments generated during the creation of the Daditionary Prints, functioning as working drafts for the 'final' works in the series. Each print is a challenging visual and conceptual balancing act between order and chaos; an ambiguous, but compelling, narrative without logic.
Fluorescent pink and orange as well as black inks are employed in this piece. Imagery depicted includes the phrase 'More Impression', a portrait of Karl Marx, a pair of scissors, Molotov cocktails, etc. Because of the variety of images, screens, inks used in this series, there are no two prints that are exactly alike.
This newsprint tester is 'test print' condition. This means creases, dings, and other 'imperfections' inherent during the creative/experimental process are present. Work is unframed. Ships wrapped and rolled within a heavy duty poster tube.
